    Default The Fantasy Football discussion thread

    I have the #7 pick in my extremely cut throat money league.

    Is #7 too high to look at DeAngelo Williams? I know that he went ballistic last season, but he can't possibly repeat those numbers... Can he?

    I've never played FF but isn't your first pick normally reserved for a QB?

    This league's scoring is usually dominated by running backs.

    Our starting lineups look like this
    1 QB
    2 RB
    2 WR
    1 Flex (WR/RB or TE)
    1 TE
    1 Kicker
    1 Defense

    If you're a football fan, that makes total sense. However, very rarely are QBs taken in the first round. As Ziggy was saying, the vast majority of league formats demand you take a RB first because the drop off from the best RBs to the mediocre ones is much more substantial than the top QBs to the mediocre QBs.
