Aren't contracts unguaranteed in the NFL? Can't the Panthers just cut Delhomme in the offseason? I only follow football on a casual level. Anyway, that game was awful, I can't believe Fox didn't switch to a more competitive game earlier.
I am sick of Jake and his whole game. Everyone on NFL Radio cant understand why Fox and Hurney have faith in Jake and gave him an extension and guaranteed $20 Mil. And we dont have a 1st rounder next year thanks to their Draft trade. I think San Fran just got a Top 10 pick via the Panthers. And I think a sub .500 season means Fox and Hurney will be on their way out at the end of the year. With this team, and the 2nd toughest schedule, I dont see us getting anything better than an 8-8 season.
I have defended jake for a long time, but he just lost all respect. He has lost the respect of Steve Smith and the rest of the team.
