OK, we are officially not too good. Now, what is going to happen? We gave up our 1st round pick to San Fran to pick a guy in the 2nd round who gets nominal playing time so far. We will likely face another off season like last with Peppers, and the Franchise Tag this time will cost us $20 mil. So, if we drop the game in Dallas, will the Panthers pull the trigger before the season gets too far along?

Right now, one of the few shortcomings in San Fran, who are 2-0, is there pass rush. And they own our 1st round pick in the next draft. And right now, that is looking more and more like a Top 10 pick. Right now, we are looking at anywhere from 4-12 to 7-9. Will Jerry Richardson try to get back our 1st round pick by sending Peppers to San Fran? Cant wait too long to explore such an option as you wont get a 1st rounder if you let too many games go by. And I'm just thinking that Richardson will not let Fox and Hurney go unscathed if this team cannot respond to them. They made their bed, they will have to sleep in it.
