Haha dude...do you really think your old ass can beat ME to the ball?
Always in high gear.
It's like people have totally forgotten about the Boykins/McInnis "experiments". Quality depth at PG is a luxury...and we have it for less than 10 million bucks. Lots of teams would love to have that.
I thought it was kind of funny that LB quips about it being a 4 hour game when you could tell that he used the refs calling every foul as part of his strategy. There's a good reason Crash didn't take any outside shots and why DJ would throw it at the rim every time a guy made contact with him.
It would never have occurred to the Idiot to ever take advantage of that.

Sorry. IDK if I wrote it the wrong way or you're taking it the wrong way. But here's what I INTENDED: The Felton haters are going to be all over Ray, for every little mistake, because DJ has improved greatly. Since DJ has improved, the pro-Felton people will have a harder time defending Ray. Remember, I'm on the side that thinks Ray shoud start. I was just saying the Ray haters have a lot more ammo now.
Also, note that I prefaced everything by saying I didn't watch the game.
I was at the game last night; spent the second quarter and the first part of the third in line for a hotdog for my son... They were NOT prepared for that last night. What struck me was it seems that DJ has really been hitting the weights; his arms looked a lot bigger. Ajinca looked a lot more aggressive, too, but it got him into trouble on occasion.
They need to play a couple games at the RBC Center in Raleigh; it could only help since we barely get to see any games out here on TV
Great game last night, it was nice to see Larry Brown get his first preseason win as Bobcats coach. The Hornets are a very good team so it's not like we beat some scrub team like the Clippers. Again it was impressive to watch us play that well without Tyson Chandler or Borris Diaw on the court but the big downside of this game was clearly the replacement ref's. I don't know how many fouls were called last night but it was way too many, they need to let these guys play without stopping the game every 15 seconds.![]()
Apologies teej...I did know what you meant and my post was probably a holdover from the last game thread. I'd just came in from the game and saw that and it all kind of clicked.
I hope like hell both of them have a tremendous season and everyone can appreciate having 2 very good PGs on the team.
On a side note...anyone notice the blond kid who gave out the game ball to the refs? Did anyone see him on TV?
That was MY boy!![]()

I saw you and your son sitting there Spectre. We were on the other side of the court, up from the baseline. I walked a lap around the concourse at halftime; but it was so crowded I couldn't spot you anywhere's.
I didn't catch the game ball thing; but that must have been WAY-cool. How'd you get such a cute kid? Your wife must be VERY pretty!j/k! I'm sure he's a perfect blend of wonderfulness....and a Bobcat fan to boot!
Bobcats Redemption?
I am glad to see the improvement in DJ's game, but I saw that Ray looked stronger also and had a great game going before he got hurt. 13 minutes with 5 assists, 5 rebounds, 8 points, no turnovers, 2 steals and shot 67% from the field. I don't think there is a need to defend Felton. His game will speak for itself. Defending, distributing, rebounding and playing his heart out. Just needs to continue with the shot selection we saw Thursday and make good decisions and he will be fine. DJ needs to watch the turnovers and keep doing what he is doing. I am simply saying that we should not underestimate the improvement of Raymond but appreciate their differences.
^ Well said. If one style isn't working we hit 'em with the other. Opposing PGs are going to catch hell dealing with our two headed monster.
