    Default $120,000 worth of pudding.

    I mean game fines.

    Brown:
35k for not leaving the court
    25k for criticizing the refs

    Bobcats:
60k for Brown's actions (whatever that means.)

Is this a common policy, cause I don't recall other coaches being fined after publicly venting their discontent with the officiating, and more importantly, where does the money go?

It's actually pretty common for the venting after games. However, I don't think I've seen a fine to an organization because of what a player or coach does.

I thought he didn't talk to the media after the game, so I'm curious how he got fined for criticizing them after the game.

The league is making sure pepole know they're behind the replacement refs. Or at least making the replacments know that someone is behind them. Hopefully this doesn't drag too far into the regular season (which if you're the regular refs, you do that to gain leverage).

Yup. They let it be known they weren't going to tolerate busting on the replacements. They're using LB & us as an example.

That's ludacris. But I'll bet LB isn't paying all or even most of it. And how the fuck did he criticize officials after the game He left the court, and didn't talk to the media. That's bull.

Stu Jackson can suck a cock, the NBA knows it's wrong, and can't admit it.

Forget the illuminati, the replacement refs are pulling the strings.

25K for criticizing the refs is a pretty generic penalty for coaches, so no discussion there.

I'm more confused with the fine for not leaving the court (I thought he walked off on his own accord, but I'm not sure as I didn't watch the game?) and the 60K Bobcats fine (What were they supposed to do? haha keep him from talking?)

25K of the fine is justified, the other 95K... not so much

You're right about the middle paragraph.

But show me where he criticized the refs OUTSIDE of the game. Which is all you can be fined for. Otherwise there would be 25k fines for every player and coach every game.

Just asked Michael about it, he said he has "no way of explaining" the fine to the team, and isn't sure yet about an appeal.
