Bobcats Interested in Stephen Jackson??

Found this.... It's on the rumors section of espns nba page....If we were to offer or have offered, I wonder what the package was? I question how much better he could make us anyway...He is unhappy on his current non-playoff team, so I doubt his attitude would change much moving to another non-playoff team...Interesting.

The Golden State Warriors are still no closer to meeting Stephen Jackson's trade request, as his large contract and even larger attitude have had teams only offering one-sided deals.
Other possible Jackson suitors

* San Antonio. Ric Bucher reported the Spurs had interest in reuniting with Jackson, but it's been downplayed this week as "remote."
* Charlotte. Stein reports: "The only other team we've heard mentioned as a potential Jackson chaser is Charlotte, although we're obliged to note that the Bobcats weren't on Jackson's original wish list and don't exactly seem like his kind of team."

But as ESPN's Marc Stein writes, the Cavaliers and Nuggets are the two teams with the most "certifiable interest in dealing for Jackson."

"The Cavs, though, don't want to surrender Zydrunas Ilgauskas in a prospective deal because they want to keep all the size they can muster to throw at Boston, Orlando and the defending champs from L.A," he writes.

"Nuggets general manager Mark Warkentien, meanwhile, reminded folks this week that the front-office team in Denver is not afraid to swing big with Chauncey Billups in place to police any chemistry risks in the locker room."
