    Default Who Built the Pyramids?

    My new debate topic.....

The exact number of stones was orginally estimated at 2,300,000 stone blocks weighing from 2 tons - 30 tons each with some weighing as much as 70 tons.

Computer calculations indicate 590,712 stone blocks were used in its construction. It area covers 13.6 acres with each side greater than 5 acres in area.

There are supposedly 144,000 casing stones, all highly polished and flat to an accuracy of 1/100th of an inch, about 100 inches thick and weighing about 15 tons each with nearly perfect right angles for all six sides.

Computer calculations indicated 40,745 casing stones were used averaging 40 tons each before the face angle was cut.

The average casing stone on the lowest level was 5 ft. long by 5 ft. high by 6 ft. deep and weighed 15 tons. The casing stones weighing as much as 20 tons were placed with an accuracy of 5/1000ths of an inch, and an intentional gap of about 2/100ths of an inch for mortar.

    Who built them??

Personally, I think it's impossible for them to build one of those in 20 yrs. They had no cranes, No pulley systems that could support that weight. The workforce needed to move and then place that block perfectly might be in the millions.

Could the Pyramids and Sphinx be a whole lot older then we have been told?

Is there a lost piece of human history missing?

    Did Aliens do it?

    Are we the Aliens?

Or was it a work force of jewish slaves and egyptian slaves forced to work day and night for 20 yrs? And thats just one of the three big ones plus the Sphinx and the hundreds of other random pyramids in egypt ....??

The Jews ARE God's chosen people

I'll throw a little gasoline on this fire.

Here are a few facts about the pyramids:
    • The perimeter of the pyramid divided by two times the height would equal to pi (3.1416…) up to the fifteenth digit.
    • The 3 pyramids of Giza is exactly aligned with the stars of the the Orions belt.
    • The height of the pyramid (481 ft) is 1/1,000,000,000 of the distance of Earth from the sun.
    • The pyramid is lined up exactly with the magnetic north pole.
    • The pyramid lies 31 degrees north and 31 degrees west, longitude and latitude.
Thats a heck of a lot of coincidences.

I visited the pyramids earlier this year. Not as impressive as you'd think. Up close, you can tell it's hand cut. This stuff makes it sound mystical. The base rocks go around, there's a lot of filler all over the place as well as tunnels and so forth.

It's all conspiracy theory stuff. They were definitely buildable with enough resources.

I'm sorry, But i'm going to have to disagree with this statement. I waited to see what answers I might get to that question. Now let me hit you with a couple of fun facts about the Pyramids.

    1. They say the pyramids are tombs for the kings of that time. No mummy has ever EVER been found inside a pyramid. Anywhere.

2.They marked everything back then in hieroglyphs. They talked about everything from farming to how to give birth. Not one thing is written about who made the pyramids, why, when ,how, none of that. For people that wrote down everything, Why nothing about their biggest acheivement? There are NO hieroglyphs anywhere on the three great pyramids.

    3. The Egyptians themselves says the "Son Gods" built those pyramids.

    4. The Sphinx has signs of erosion and water damage. It's hasn't rained in Egypt like that since 10,000 BC. Think about it.......

    5. Osirian Temple, right down from the Sphinx is 10 or 20 feet lower then the surrounding area. Meaning it was built a long time ago and dirt and stuff piled up around and above it. If that dirt is measured for how long it takes to get that high.......10,000bc

    6. The blocks for the pyramid are said to have been rolled on tree's up to the building site. Egypt at that time was still dessert like it is today. But not in 10,000 BC. The only tree's around today for them to use are date palm's. That was a food source for them, They wouldn't destroy a food source just to roll blocks on them. Plus date palms are skinny couldn't hold a 2 ton block without it smashing the palm tree under the pressure.

    7. Ziggy noted that the stars of Orion's belt match the three great pyramids. They are directly over those three pyramids only in the year 10,000 BC.

8.When the Sphinx was "found" by Ramsis in eygptian history it was burried up to it's neck in sand. How long you think it would for that much sand to get there?

    9. The box in the middle of the great pyramid, Believed to be the final resting place for the kings Tut's mummy. Never had a mummy in it. But it is big enough for the Ark of the Covenant..... Think about it.

    10. The face on the Sphinx is cleary african, not white, not semite, not asian, Black african. Alot of statues and artifacts from that period have their nose broken off. Why is that, To hide the true identity of the builders?

I have more, But I believe there is a lost piece of history missing. I think around 10,000 BCE the human race was doing big things. But 10,000 BCE was also the end of the last ice age which means alot of climate change. Grass lands turn into sand. Rivers turn into dirt piles. There might have even been a pole flip. In Greenland they have found animals with green grass still in their stomach when they died. So something serious happened to this planets climate around 10,000 BCE.

Something happened, Maybe there was a Atlantis type civilization that was wiped out. The survivors rebuildt but never got back to the level of knowledge and technology as before. They moved blocks of granite that weighed in the thousands of ton's. How did they do that? The most we can move today with one of our super cranes is 200 tons and we can only move that from the back of a truck or train to a ship. Not the miles and miles these people moved the blocks.....How did they do it.....Who did it??....When did they do it??

All that is speculation, man, and doesn't really appear to have any scientific evidence or research behind it. From my first hand observations, Egypt has quite a few trees and it rained when I was there! I just prefer to analyze things based on evidence. I think you can find all kinds of coincidences if you look for them and speculation really doesn't mean anything.

Not really gonna debate too much on this one. I prefer to argue about religion and politics.

Here's some pics of my trip just for fun.

Sorry Sir, But your wrong there. I don't get my opinions from speculation. I put alot of thought behind it. You clearly missed what I said about the rain. I said it hasn't rained enough since the last ice age to put the weathering rain erosion on the sphinx. Thats not me saying that it's geologist saying it. I'll post the link if you like.

Whats really speculation is saying that slaves built the pyramids in 20 yrs.

What has no evidence is saying these slaves picked up blocks that weight 50 tons and placed them PERFECTLY into postion over 2 million times.

There's no way to date stone. It doesn't have enough carbon. Usually what scientist do it date the bones who whoever is near by and then say well since he's buried beside it he must have built it.

At what point do coincidences stop being coincidences in ya'lls mind and start equaling up to something?
