Default Ok this (one of) my major issues.

Honestly say what you want about how we need a big man or a perimeter shooter, could we get someone who knows how to shoot a damn free throw? Look at this last night we were 18/30 from the line while the Nets were 24/29 from the line. That was enough to get it tied and go into OT. And looking at some previous games.
    Bobcats 24/35 Celtics 26/29
    Bobcats 18/25 Wizards 12/13
    Bobcats 18/30 Cavs 9/17

To add to that we are shooting .693 FT Precentage while our opponents are shooting .753 against us.
I guess im still just bitter about last nights loss.

Uh...we theoretically have a "FT" coach...but for a professional-NBA BB team...it is hard to believe...I'll tell you my 18yr old sons take.."it looks to me like they don't give a crap"...

If he is correct I can't tell you the why...unless there are problems we just don't know about...I noticed early in the season body language (from other players) was not good towards Diaw...but this can't be the total story...but none of us really knows so anything is a guess...

please ya it helps to make free throws but the reason we are losing is because we have the weakest post in the league. diaw is is solid player but he is just playing horrible and provides no D in the post. Chandler gets dominated by any big man with decent size, and I thought he was gonna be okay here but all he does is dunk, drop passes, and block guards and got dominated. we gotta get a big man, larry knows it. it will happen soon

Your son is 18? I took you to be a younger guy lol

As for the free throw shooting, they're downright terrible. When my high school team didnt make our free throws we would spend however long it took after practice for the entire team to make 10 in a row. The next game.... we didn't miss a single one.

They need to just practice, practice, practice.

I play basketball at the YMCA maybe once a week, if that, and I can hit right at 70 % of my freethrows (I practice when no one else is there <.<). If I can do that, I don't see why they cant hit atleast 80%

I'm with ya...it pisses me off to no end. Missing the front end is pretty bad, but missing both and I want to throw something.

Wow BRNC, you have a young soul then

I've always believed how you perform on your free throws determines how you shoot in general. I play ball every day at the Blatt (USC) and before I play, I take a shot from every line in the paint, both elbows, a free throw, and a three pointer. I force myself to keep shooting until I make them all in a row without missing. That usually gives me good form for the rest of the night.

They need to just practice and take shots in volume. I have a sneaky suspicion that they don't work on shooting drills much and instead focus on running the plays over and over again. (Which would explain the poor shooting overall).

Thanks Swedd...I try to stay "young"...

Look...I shot thousands of FT...practice...games...whatever...and let me tell you...if you do not approach them as "this is mine...period"...then you have a "crap" attitude and leave points on the floor...

Our TOs and FT (lack of) shooting pisses me off in almost every game...no damned excuse...and I do not want to here about the "players"...this "coaching staff" averages what...150yrs. old...and who are they relating to at this point...each other I guess...

...and that is not to say age has to be an issue...R. Adelman is still my favorite coach and really gets the best from his guys...Lb is just a negative coach...and eventually it catches up...and his "guys" (coaching staff) kinda just nod and agree with whatever...hell...someone slap him and tell him we have talent...figure out how to use it...!!!

What really pops my little pink bub diddily diddily bubble is how Crash, Jax, Felton and DJ have all taken a major hit from last years percentages at the stripe.
